Welsh Water has worked closely with partners and the local community to create a hub for health and well-being whilst protecting the site’s biodiversity.
Lisvane and Llanishen Reservoirs is a natural resource of significant ecological value and encompasses two Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for waxcap fungi and overwintering birds.
Open-water swimming sessions are part of the watersports programme on Llanishen Reservoir which also includes sailing, canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.
Our brand new two-storey visitor centre offers spectacular views across the reservoirs and an exceptional dining experience in our cafe.
